adGrains is an editorial-led studio working from Dubai, Sharjah and Kochi. We edit commercials, brand films, documentaries, corporate content, campaign case films and digital stories for agencies, filmmakers and brands across Dubai, the UAE and beyond.

EDITING.
A film finds its emotional shape in the edit: through performance, structure, silence and rhythm.
Shibeesh K Chandran has personally edited three feature films, including Pottas Bomb and Kuttanpillayude Sivarathri. adGrains welcomes new feature films and long-form narratives, alongside our commercial and documentary editorial work.

TO FINAL FILM.
Already have footage? Starting from a script? Or need someone to take over an existing edit? Our workflow scales to your project, while keeping every creative and technical stage clear.

Ingest & media preparation
Camera originals and production audio are transferred, verified and organised. We log footage, sync sound, create proxies where useful and set up a consistent project structure.

Offline editing
From selects and assembly to rough cut, we find the strongest narrative structure. Temporary voice-over, music, titles and graphic placeholders communicate the intended rhythm and tone.

Review & revisions
We share review cuts, gather consolidated time-coded feedback and develop the film with your director, producer, agency or brand team. Clearly labelled versions keep everyone aligned.
05 /
Fine cut & picture lock
We refine performances, pace, timing, continuity and visual relationships. Once the approved cut is locked, it becomes the reference for finishing; changes after picture lock are assessed separately.
06 /
Online & finishing
The picture is conformed to the source footage where needed, then moves through the agreed motion graphics, VFX, colour, sound, captions, subtitling and final quality checks.
07 /
Masters & deliverables
We prepare exports for the agreed specifications: widescreen, social verticals, campaign cutdowns, subtitles, presentation screens or broadcast-ready versions, depending on the brief.

What to send
Camera rushes, separate audio, a creative brief or script, brand assets, music references and the target formats. If the project has already been edited, include its current sequence and a matching reference movie.
How we work
We review and organise footage, shape the story, share review cuts with consolidated notes, refine the approved direction and prepare the final picture lock.
What you receive
An approved edit and the agreed outputs, which may include clean/texted versions, digital cutdowns, aspect-ratio variants and finishing handover files.
